I started this business in 2015...
However, my passion for photography started at a very young age. A new camera was always on my Christmas list. I loved the thrill of getting my photos developed. The surprise of how they turned out always was one of my favorite treats from my mother. I would always have so many full rolls I had a limit of how many she would take in to be developed.
As time progressed and film became a thing of the past I embraced digital photography with an open heart. I could fill up memory cards within days. Taking photos of nature, people, animals, and playing with lighting in general was a loved hobby.
Over the past 6 years my favorite hobby has not only been digital photography, but the digital editing of photos. I have mastered many programs and will always be continuing my education on many more. My love for technology, creating, and photography make this something that never gets old.
In 2011 I became a mother to a beautiful son. My son was later diagnosed with moderate Autism. Taking him to get his picture taken was always a headache. Flashing lights going off to a child with sensitivity issues is no fun. His issues with staying still and eye contact only made it harder.
The year of 2013 was very hard. My husband deployed to Afghanistan and I was pregnant with our second child. This was also the year my son was diagnosed. I had a little girl and the dresses started pouring in our house. When my husband safely returned home he realized how much we spent on dresses, photo sessions, and how hard it could be on our son. He knew my passion for photography and purchased my first professional camera and everything I would ever need to get the job done.
After being a stay at home mother for a few years my creativity is exploding. My children have been my muses for so long and my work has now become a driving force. I have never shown a lot of my work until recently and so much positive feedback has given me the support I need to start one of my dream jobs.
I hope you will take this journey with me and let me help make your memories into still images to last forever.
